New Flyer of America Transfer

July 2005 - The city of Crookston and the Crookston Development Authority are collectively working on the transfer of the New Flyer building from the city to New Flyer. Crookston has owned the building and New Flyer has been leasing it from the city and will purchase it. Parrish said, "That will be a big obligation off our books and it will give them a stronger place in the community." The city will see a significant impact on the tax base in the year 2007.
